Although we thought things were getting calmer accross the border, people from Central America, South America and Africa arrive to our sister city every day.
Now that the Caravan Shelter is closed things have got busier for our friend Padre Pepe, he has turn 2 of his facilities into immigrant shelters to cover the need.
It was amazing to visit this places and talk to these families who have experienced so many things in the past months.
The first one Casa Betania, is usually used as a Nursing Home for elderly and now it is hosting right now 18 children and 17 adults that have come from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Congo in Africa.

African immigrants have experienced some stomach issues because of the different spices and food here in Mexico, so this African mom cooks for all the Africans.
